I use this app mostly for scanning my printed sheet music so that I can read it on my I pad. It’s brilliant for a whole lot of stuff, but this is the easiest way to scan in a score to convert it to a pdf without having to use a desktop scanner!

Was receiving an error code after an upgrade. Reached out to Genius Scan tech support and had a resolution in 36 hours. Great support.

I contacted support & made a review as I could not use the app. I have owned it since it came out & referred many people. It was giving me an error. Support emailed and explained they had an error and apologized and gave me links to the updates. Issues happen. (Though I used to be the Dir of IT Quality, I recommend testing.) However how a company responds is very important. They responded immediately and appropriately and that’s all you can ask. And I love the app - I use it all the time. I have owned this app since it came out. You charged me initially. Now you won’t let me use it without a “key” right when I have a time sensitive legal document I need to scan. I’m going to find another program even if I have to pay for it and I want my original money refunded back. This is not acceptable when I already paid for this for the enterprise version and now you’ve taken it away without any notice. It’s really too bad because I’ve literally referred hundreds of people to your app.

We had been using the life time plus version of genius scan enterprise for many years very satisfied when suddenly we got the message expired key and a loop where we could not use it anymore. Very frustrating, but very quickly I received a response during the weekend and a bug fix was provided via the AppStore that solved the issue. Happy customer again.

Looking for a license key despite having a lifetime license.

I have been using this app for years and I love it!! Allows me to scan and then export to my Google drive.

DOES not work! I paid and it keeps saying renew license license is expired. There’s no place to do that. It’s stolen my money and doesn’t work.

I have been using this app for almost 10 years. The app has been improved several times and today it is near perfect. I love this app! It is like having a scanner on your iPhone. I light the document from the side against a black background and you can turn them into PDFs as fast as you can turn a page!

this program is nice. How do you remove the red dot from the circular arrow thing in the upper left-hand corner? Every time I open the program I think there is a notification. And I've read everything but I can't make it go away.

I have used this app for over ten years. While on the road I accumulate receipts, financial, legal, and medical documents. I use this app to get an image of each document and save as a pdf and directly to my cloud service — files are then accessible to all my devices. I no longer have a pile of scanning to do when I get home. Also, for any single document of a few pages, this is quicker than using my scanner and Macbook. The quality is excellent since my iPhone 16 Pro has a great camera. If you want or need a portable scanner and have a good device, like an iPhone or an iPad, then this app can help you make efficient use of your time. Also, customer service is excellent. They got back to me the next day with a solution that worked — nice people too!

It's everything you actually need with a simple yet powerful workflow. It produces the best results with the least amount of fussing with it. I bought this years ago and it's still my go-to app for capturing documents and other physical info into my iPhone and digital life.

Scans are not coming out correctly

It’s been years now. One of the best app purchases I have ever made. I paid money for this and it has been worth every single penny. Great app on its own as a free app, but the ability to import pdfs from other sources is well worth it. I am able to import my hotel receipts and compile everything together in a single PDF for filing my expense reports. Perhaps the best app purchase I have ever made. Between this and PWSafe it would be a close race.

After purchasing this app they created different levels and without explaining to users the different levels, deleted years of saved documents. I would not trust them with your scans.

Genius Scan Plus is actually my top app on my IPhone. I have been using this app fo several years now and have not found anything else that comes close. The editing features are great. You can add pages at any time. Easy to search docs. I scan business card in a few secs and hand back the card. Totally addicted to this app.

Awesome for sending pics of documents clearly and I can store and look up later. I can enhance and mark up easily with out being a teenager or techno wiz. It has been my favorite tools to get invoices out and get paid!! And now into retirement and managing HOA issues it’s perfect!

The Genius Scan Plus app works very well with Genius Cloud and its companion apps, Genius Fax and Genius Sign. It is reliable and very effective! Updates are regular and effective. Grizzly reads all the reviews and works hard to fix what needs fixed, respond to requests for HELP! And!! promptly tackles the tough stuff to make the suite an critically important tool box for all users. Over the last 13years I have remained continuously impressed with the Grizzly and its products. Genius Scan + meets >99% of my scanning needs. I really appreciate its seemless connection to Genius Fax. Genius Cloud is very reliable, and Genius Sign does exactly what it's supposed to do... and then some.

Broken in 7.1 - you can no longer set passwords at the document level. You can only set one password for all documents at the app level.

We use this app pretty much all day every day for our business. It worked great for years until the recent update, which made it crash and now it is unable to sync to all of our devices. We are having to look for an alternative to be able to run our business.

I have a 4 inch binder of family history from my aunt. Every page is legible and clear! I can also export to iCloud or Google Drive!

This iPad version of app repeatedly freezes after opening, making it, obviously, unusable. It has done so over many months and several app updates. Developer response earlier in 2023 stated that they knew about the problem. Still unresolved. Periodically it will allow a new pdf creation, but once one exits the creation mode and returns to the list of docs, no doc will open and no additional doc can be created. I used this iPad app for years because it was easier to see images imported into pdf creations than on iPhone.The iPhone version continues to work smoothly. I don’t get why this issue with the essential function of app is not addressed.

I use this app for three years. The scanner has made tremendous strides, and is probably one of the best on the market. I subscribe to the cloud service to keep my documents there for business. Now I can’t login and see them. So my business is at a standstill and all my emails to support have gone unanswered. Don’t waste your time buying the cloud. Use the free version only

I have not been able to send scans or sometime and cannot figure it out. I tried to do some research and it said something to do with my email but the email that I have associated it with is in my mailbox so I don’t understand so basically, all I can do is scan a document and print it. I cannot send them.

I love this app! These guys have created a great app for people who love to move images and files We love it. And we can keep our wits by storing all on the cloud accessible anywhere we want. I use the Genius Scan, Genius Sign, and the Genius Fax Apps and they save gobs of time and avoid frustration! Sending, saving files, printing documents, all great apps for the busy business executives!
